UPDATE: T.I. Set To Testify In Court... Again!

Today, prosecutors told a jury that they are sure Hosea Thomas fired the fatal shot because of their star witness – Padron Thomas, the accused killer’s brother who was driving the Jeep that night as it chased T.I.'s vans down Seymour Avenue.

“It’s all going to come down to witness testimony,” assistant Hamilton County prosecutor Heather Gosselin told jurors today.

Hosea Thomas, 34, is charged with murder, felonious assault and other charges stemming from the incident. Three members of T.I.’s entourage were injured and a fourth, Philant Johnson, died after being shot in the head during the running gunbattle. Johnson was T.I.'s assistant and childhood friend.

Hosea Thomas’ attorney, Charles Isaly, agreed the key to the trial would be witness testimony. That’s why he strongly suggested to jurors that all of the witnesses against his client were unsavory characters and many of them – including his client’s brother – were ratting on Hosea Thomas to earn lesser sentences for their crimes.

“Credibility. That’s what this case comes down to,” Isaly said.

In his opening argument, though, Isaly never said his client didn’t fire the shots.

“(Prosecutors) just don’t have enough. They just don’t have enough evidence,” Isaly said.

Not enough evidence... how the tables have turned? That's fucked up; if you can't trust your blood brother, who can one trust? Anyway, it looks like Mr. Clifford won't have to testify afterall. This case is signed, sealed, and delivered!
